A BIT ABOUT MYSELF

My name is Carter Fischer and I've been fascinated by the world of music and sound for my entire life.  It seemed like such an amazing, almost surreal idea to actually make a living working with music or sound, so up until a few years ago, it hadn't occurred to me that I could actually make a viable career out of it.  But, I decided to follow my heart and went back to school for music production at Schoolcraft Community College in Livonia, Michigan.  After doing an exercise in which we composed a short piece for a title sequence, I realized that I wanted to do sound and music for motion media.  I discovered the sound design program at SCAD, and now, two and a half years later, I'm a graduate looking for my place in the industry.  My main passions in the field of audio are post-production film sound design and sound editing, music editing, and also game audio design.
