FILMS/PROJECTS
This is a collection of some of the films I've been lucky enough to be a part of. There are also two small excerpts from a podcast series for good measure.

In Her Burning (Podcast)
These are a couple of excerpts from episodes 2 and 3 of Sin Ribbon's "In Her Burning" podcast. I was the Lead Sound Editor/Designer for this award-winning drama series, which took home 2018 Audio Verse Awards for Best Audio Engineering and Best Self-Contained Production. I especially had fun creating the static and vocal effects for the tape diary, which is an important aspect of the narrative. I also found that working on the backgrounds and ambiences was more interesting and fun in this medium. If you want to listen to all 8 episodes in their entirety, then please visit this link: https://universe.vision/inherburning/
Rent A Friend
For this project, I was a Dialogue Editor and Backgrounds Editor. This short documentary was accepted to many film festivals, including the 2018 Avalonia Festival and the 2019 Los Angeles Cinefest. Since it's still making its rounds at festivals I can currently only show this trailer for the film, and there is also about a minute-long clip in the abridged film reel at the bottom of this list, and on my Home page.
Savings
On this short drama directed by Nestor Tomaselli, I was a Sound Editor/Designer and had a great time creating some of the more understated sound design in this film, such as using a couple of stereo layers for the shower and faucet to create the sense of an almost claustrophobic, or invasive space. I also layered in some subtle synth sounds into the microwave, making it sound larger and more imposing than a normal microwave. Faith Soto won the award for Best Actress at the 2018 Mount Dora Indie Film Festival, for her performance as the lead in this film.
Busy
On this short animation directed by Dawoon Kim, I performed and edited Foley. It was admittedly challenging doing all the Foley for the typing, but I think our work paid off, as this film was nominated for a 2018 Southeast Emmy Student Production Award, in the Best Audio category.
Brother's Keeper
This short mystery-thriller was directed by Aren O'Kelso. Along with editing and designing sound effects, I was ADR Supervisor, and performed and edited Foley. The Foley is actually mixed a bit hot in this film, but I couldn't complain too much because I performed and edited about 95-98% of it, so it honestly was nice to hear it cutting through the music.
Primal Punch
On this short animation I was a Sound Designer, mainly in charge of the kung fu-esque sound design, with all of the exaggerated whooshes, impacts, and hits. This was an interesting project since it was the first time I ever collected all my recorded and library sounds (for the whooshes in particular) and mapped them to a keyboard to play the variety of whooshes on a MIDI controller, instead of editing them in.
Film Reel - Abridged
This is a compilation of parts of some films (and a podcast) for which I've been lucky enough to do sound work. I chose these works because they exemplify the variety of projects that I've gotten to work on, from animation, to documentary, to live action, and even a podcast series; as well as showing the variety of roles I've played on different projects.
